\nAre you experiencing early signs of dementia or caring for someone with dementia?
\nWould you like to help guide the direction of dementia research?<\/p>\n

You are invited to WIMR to attend an information session about new dementia research underway in Western Sydney.<\/p>\n

Dr. Caitlin Finney\u2019s research is focused on a precision medicine approach to dementia care and treatment by using 3D brain models taken from an individual\u2019s own stem cells.<\/p>\n

Dr Finney\u2019s research studies the role that a person\u2019s genetic errors (mutations) play in causing dementia so that we better understand how to treat it.<\/p>\n

You will hear more about how mini brain\u2019s in dishes may hold the key to future breakthroughs in this area; have the opportunity to share your story, and ask Dr Finney about the direction of this important work.<\/p>\n
